Procedure must be carried out within 10 seconds: 1. Switch ignition on (engine off) 2. Pull and release high beam 5 times.
Wondered if you could help me, i have a kit car with a focus 1.8 Zetec in, iv’e had a intermittent starting problem for some time now and it seems to have got worse, Iv’e discovered that when it wont start the immobiliser light flashes fast and when it lights up and goes out it starts fine.
Focus 2009 SE No Crank/NoStart. I have a 2009 SE that won't start. I get lights. I can turn on the radio. I get the key in ignition warning if I open the door. At first I was having this problem every few weeks. Maybe I had to turn the key 2 or 3 times to get it to start. At times it seemed like I had to turn the key and push in to get it to start.
