π Lg Monitor Usb C Not Working
If youβre not having any luck with the USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your monitor, then you can try using the HDMI port instead. If the problem is related to the USB-C or Thunderbolt connections ports, then no other workaround will fix it other than changing to HDMI. Note this may not work via a Thunderbolt hub.
Specifically I have a LG UHD 32 monitor connected via USB-C cable. When it wakes up from sleep the resolution is on 720p. I found a solution on developer.apple.com forum which helped me. I hope it works for you as well. System Preferences -> Display -> Color -> Calibrate -> Click through all the dialogs.
1 Click the sound icon at the right bottom of the taskbar on the home screen to launch the currently used player and volume control slider. Check if it is muted (1) or the sound volume is set too low (2). 2 Click the player to launch the [Select Playback Device] list. In the [Select Playback Device] list, select the monitor you are currently

Monitor: LG 35WN75C-B. Laptop: MacBook pro. Issue: I use the usb-c that came in with the monitor to connect the latter with the MBP. All worked fine for a few months but today the monitor is no longer receiving any video from the laptop. The weird thing is that the MBP still gets charged from the LG through the usb-c, but no signal for the image.
I have noticed the same behaviour - using a USB-C to DisplayPort connection or a USB-C hub (with HDMI). After a while, the external display blacks out and the display reverts to the internal laptop display only (MacBook Air M1, 512GB). What seems to make a difference is whether my MacBook is connected to power or running on battery.
The HDMI connection runs fine. Nothing appears on the Thunderbolt Control Centre, so I can't even get to authorising the monitor. Connecting using USB- C port does not work either (monitor is USB-C compatible) BIOS is most up to date. Running Windows 10 and is up-to-date. Lenovo recently released firmware updates for TB3 connectivity. Installed

I've got a SP7 and am trying to output audio/video to a 55" LG TV via a USB-C to HDMI CABLE (not adapter w/ separate cables). Video is fine but I don't get any audio. I can get a USB-C dock/adapter but I'm trying to get the simplest set up possible (will be used at work with non-tech savvy users).
The HMDI head of the USB-C-HDMI cable was exceedingly hot. Suspecting something was amiss, I recorded a third test, this time with a different Cygnett USB-C-HDMI cable and an old LG 27MU67-B monitor, which confirmed it. The Cygnett USB-C to HDMI worked fine on my HP tablet at first, and fine on the Lenovo L13 too.
I have been using the LG 34WN80C-B for the past two years or something, most of the time using the Thunderbolt/USB-C port as the main port, but suddenly, one day I go to turn on the monitor and the laptop and it doesn't detect any input from the USB-C port. It still works perfectly fine for both the DisplayPort and the HDMI ports, however, the
